Dear Diary, Jan. 2, 1988
Ever since we moved from New York to Florida, everything has been the pits.
School is starting again soon and I have to go back to my stinky school. I hardly have anyone to talk to, so that makes it really boring. I also have quarter exams in two more weeks.
And I got my period.
Yuck!
Dear Diary, Jan. 3, 1988
Today was very stupid and dumb. My cousins and family left and Christmas vacation is over. My next door neighbor invited me over, though. We taped ourselves imitating Dr. Ruth.
Tomorrow I have to go to stupid school. It’s so boring. I eat lunch alone because the girls I sit with are always buying something.
